Once belonging to the race of the Drow, Darkshade was a renegage even among her kind, revelling in the torture and destruction of anything that was weaker than herself.

Enslaving her people, she ultimately brought about her own end as hate seethed inside the clan until breaking point and in the ensuing magical rage, her body was tossed into the cave's abyss.

However, powerful in her own right, Darkshade rose again having made a pact with the Reaper: as long as she gave him one soul for each day of her life, she would walk among the shadows of the night again.

Through the foggy twilight - the crack of her whip snapping out for another victim - Darkshade rides the Reaper's Mist-Terror, collecting souls for her own needs and revelling in the fear she creates, her eyes glowing red with the flames of hell and the blood of her people streaking her hair.
